Serve For Your Sake
Many people seek out volunteering opportunities, but they often do so just to impress others — parents, mentors, institutions, and so on. That would be opportunistic rather than service-oriented.
Service is done to spiritually cleanse oneself. It nourishes your soul and brings goodness into your life.
So, if someone nudges you to serve, it suggests they are attempting to do something beneficial for you. It is up to you whether you embrace it or regard it as torture.
But if you seize the opportunity and do it with soul, you will reap the benefits. And you will benefit even if nobody uses your service. Why? Nature sees the intent… not the outcome.

Fiction? No Nonfiction?
I spent many years writing nonfiction spiritual blogs. Through experience, I learned that such content is rather transient.
Today, something feels relevant. Tomorrow, it’s fine. Within a week, it is irrelevant. That’s how fast things are changing.
There are outstanding nonfiction writers who can create timeless information. Maybe I am just not one of them, and this simply reveals where my journey leads.
I enjoy stories and almost find them to be eternal. Yes, they do get antiquated, but only in presentation and language, never in soul. Which is why the best texts ever produced could very well be fictional.
My heart naturally pivots to that — fiction.

An Outlet
I don’t share my thoughts to educate or even to express myself. My mind is churning thoughts at the pace of light, and this space is precisely the outlet they need.
Can’t I stop my thoughts through meditation? Of course, I can. But that comes with a downside: it kills my creativity.
So, I guess thoughts aren’t terrible after all. They allow me to do something productive with my life. And so I decided to keep them… even if they can be annoying at times.
