A devoted Zen monk, Zeno Shuso, lives and studies in the same space as Maya Unsui.
Zeno is committed to meditation and the study of Zen paradoxes. Thoughtful and disciplined, he takes the spiritual path seriously. He spends much of his time reflecting on philosophical questions and working through koans — often finding his mind circling the very ideas he’s trying to move beyond.
Zen reference: Shuso means the head student of a monastery.
